Animal Antics By Mark Baker
Fuzzy, feathery, scaly, and wet,
Animals of all kinds, a wonderful set.
Lions roar and tigers prowl,
Bears lumber slowly, making a growl.
Birds sing sweetly, high in the trees,
Fish leap happily in the warm breeze.
Rabbits hop and squirrels play,
Busy little creatures all through the day.
Elephants are big, giraffes are tall,
Monkeys swing in trees, having a ball
Frogs jump and leap with a sticky tongue,
Butterflies flutter, colorful and young.
Snakes slither silently, smooth and long,
Owls hoot softly, a mysterious song.
So let’s explore and learn their ways,
Respect their homes, and fill our days
With wonder at these creatures bright,
A precious part of our world and light.
Let’s be kind to all creatures, it’s true,
They’re part of our world, just like you.
The End.
