Kara Tiffany, who is known as KT to many of her friends grew up in the inner city of Baltimore, MD. She comes from a family of 4 which included her mother, father, amd younger sister.

KT later moved to Savannah, GA, in order to attend school at Savannah State University on a full basketball scholarship. From there she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and later earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

KT know resides in Savannah, GA with her family where she continues to play sports such as basketball and writes for leisure.
