About Me

K.S. Wood has been writing stories ever since she could print her name. Many of her first stories were written in crayon on scrap paper, and had to be deciphered by her mother.

Born in North Carolina as the eldest child of a USMC officer, she spent her childhood moving from place to place. In college, she was a social science major but loved her creative writing classes as well.

K. S. Wood is married and lives in Iowa, where she is the proud "mom" to two cats and works for a school district.
