Arne was born in Ornskoldsvik, Sweden in 1936. He was raised in a family of devout Baptists but became disenchanted with the religion because of its rules against singing, dancing, and card-playing - three attributes that help to define his joyful, optimistic personality. As an adult, Arne began again his studies of the Bible and enterted upon a faith journey that produced these remarkable letters to his last surviving brother, Sigvard. His hope is that they will be shared with many generations to come.
