Emily Lord, 1890-1969, wrote the Tales of Susan Mouse when she was a young teacher. Later, it was found in the attic by my mother, Alice Ann, who asked her friend, Muriel Childs, to illustrate it. Later still, I came across it & have adapted it as a gift to my grandchildren.
