My name is Amarr Anthony Reid. I am 28 yrs. old. I was born and raised in Boston, MA then shortly moved to Brockton, MA. I was on the verge of starting my athletic career when, suddenly, I was diagnosed with a disease that affected my growth. My right hip had to be replaced with a pin in order to continue growing. During my healing process, I decided to watch Food Network which inspired me to become a chef. I have been cooking since I was 8 years old. Cooking next to my grandmother, Donessa Rock, has gave me the building block I needed to succeed in my chef career. With her Caribbean cooking style and my desire for Thai cuisine, I have evolved within my chef career.



My grandmother, Donessa, has been a major support in my life. Ever since I was little, she has taken me into her home and raised me to be the man that I am today.
