im the second youngest girl of a family of eight children. my parentsare from scotland and meet here in australia. my dad and uncles brought a farm in kojonup were we were raised. my mum only had a wood stove to cook in and everything was beaten mixed, seperated and folded by her hands. my mum worked hard and baked every day for her family. i dont no if she loved cooking but to come home from school and smell a apple pie bakeing on a wet dark day is still one of my favourite memories. this book is for my mum and all the sacaficies she made for all her family
