I had the wonderful privilege of growing up in a beautiful city on the Pacific Ocean during the years between World War II and the Vietnam War. My childhood was idyllic, filled with a wonderful extended family of loving parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and a little sister. I love to write about those times and those memories and hope, through this book, to share the love story of a very special aunt and uncle.
