Ms. Evelyn was born on August 21, 1920 in Jamestown, LA and passed away on February 21, 2012. "Mama Eb", as she was affectionately know by all of her family, led a very full life. She was very loyal and faithful member of Jamestown Primitive Baptist Church where she played the piano for over 50 years. Ms. Evelyn enjoyed writing, being outdoors, especially fishing, and was a gifted artist and musician. She took great pleasure in writing the weekly article "From Ringgold Nurse Care" in the Bienville Democrat. Above all, "Mama Eb" was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and the memories made throughout the past years will be cherished forever.
