Elaine, a native of Youngstown, Ohio, grew up eating lots of great ethnic foods made by her Italian-German-Romanian Mother Joy, her German-Romanian Grandma Freida and her Slovak Grandma Julia.
Now a Southern Belle by marriage, Elaine loves to make Pimento Cheese, Tomato Pie and Baked Cheese Grits, but she has kept to her native Northern ways by continuing to request "Unsweetened Tea."
