I was a single mom for 13 years.Raised by my mom who had been separated from my dad since I was 12 years old.Born and raised in Glen Cove, NY I relocated myself with my children down to Atl,GA where I lived only 1 year before I met my husband who then finally relieved me from having to deal with my child rearing alone anymore. All of the children are mostly grown up now.The oldest is married with 2 little ones of his own, 2 are away from home at college, and the last 2 are in high school. So what did we do? We had another child (our first together) she is "The Grand Finale" allowing me/us to right all of the wrongs and repeat the really good disciplinary tactics that were effective.
