On June 5, 2017, Mo (Merylene Thomas), Konleigh Eben, Destinee Cabrera (Konleigh's 4-H Friend) and myself headed toward College Station for State Roundup. We stopped in Bastrop at Taco Cabana then we were back on the road again. We arrived at The Aloft Hotel about 9:30pm. We checked in, prepped for bed and reviewed our week of competition and fun! We returned on Friday, June 9, 2017 at about 1:30 pm. Our team did well in the Swine Quiz Bowl and Konleigh placed 6th in her public speaking educational presentation on ATV Safety.

I am the mother of Konleigh and I love to encourage her to make the most of every situation and to challenge herself on many levels. I am always there to support her in all things she does and this was just another one of my "cheerleading roles". I love you Konleigh Eben and am proud that I am the one you call "MOM".
Desitnee, I am so happy that you and Konleigh have had the opporunity to build a strong relationship and create memories that will last a lifetime! We are thankful you were able to attend this event with us and am blessed for you to be a part of our lives.
