Anna's family is moving from New York to Oregon for a year. She is dreading to leave her best friends. When they arrive in Oregon, Anna finds a friend named Violet across the street. They have lots of fun in summer, but when school mail comes, Violet is embarrassed by something and runs away. At school Anna finds out that Violet is made fun of for not being able to turn a cartwheel. She forgave Violet and taught her how to do a cartwheel, and Violet then understood what a true friend is.
