Baily was about to end her life. It was the only way she felt could cast away the pain, the sadness, the dull moments of her life. When she thought she swallowed her last breath, a boy rescues her, takes her by the hand and asks her to fly with him.
Brayden Lones is her rescuer and simply is amazed by Baily's actions and her kind heart. He knows that if he can't personally help her, maybe making her feel loved will do her justice. In the first day of the first week, Baily's life changes for the better even though her mother is still an alcoholic and her father is still gone. At the end of week two, her life takes a drastic turn for the worse and she will never be the same.
