Ever wondered what is on the other side of the forbidden wall? Rumors only feed the urge to climb it and find out. A girl named Kindel and a young boy named Rem meet after Kindel secretly climbs the wall to the other side of their country named Ember. Kindels side is a thriving wealthy side, which 'trash' or trinkets are dumped over the wall into the darker side where Rem lives whos job is sorting the "trash" to increase the quality of the poor living by making something remarkable out of someone elses trash.
