John McCullough is a retired Pennsylvania prison warden. He was a lecturer in crimininal justice at Penn State University and is currently an instructor at a business school. He ran therapeutic communities for drug addicts in the Federal Bureau of Prisons and for aggressive offenders at the State Correctional Institution at Rockview. This book is a four year history of a therapeutic community in B Block North at rockview and is used as an example of group process and therapeutic interventions to correct and shape criminal behavior.
