About the Book

Love is a wonderful thing. It takes high and low to strange and beautiful places. Sometimes the disappointment of love makes you want to just curl in a fetal position and other times it makes want to say hallelujah. For "God so loved the world.." and so life is love and love is life. Without love there is nothing. This collection of poems is about the stages of love, its effects, and manifestations. I hope you fall in love with the poems in this book.

I went to the University of Zimbabwe to study electrical engineering and was unleashed by the system to build electrical stuff, but my passion was always writing things. I wrote a short story about friends for a provincial school competition in a laid back manner and came third. The price was a kit to teach you how to write better books but i discarded it and i do not remember where it is. I am not a poet, unless a poet is someone who writes poetry. I do write poetry and my friends are beginning to call me a poet. Maybe i am, but what i do know is i enjoy conveying a message and an emotion with the most economy of words. If that makes me a poet, then the compliment is accepted with thanks. This book contains those attempts to convey a message and emotion with an economy of words. I hope you enjoy them and you may, at the end, label me a poet. I would be honoured.
