On a visit to nearby Myrtle Beach, students from Ms. Arthur’s fifth grade class in Loris, South Carolina, noticed something about the ocean and marsh habitats. Trash had been left behind by vacationers, threatening the lives of the animals that call it home. The students were inspired to write A Bottle’s Journey in order to encourage people to keep our Earth “Green”.
