This book is about the beautiful wildflowers found in Colorado from the foothills to the montane zone. This is the first volume of the two books, which tell about rare and common wildflowers and the best time of the year to see them.

Vien has a degree in Architecture, worked on infrastructure projects for years, as well as other jobs not related to her chosen career. Besides being an avid reader and gardener, she is a creative person, decorating and crafting when time permits. She also loves travelling and hiking with her husband - an outdoor enthusiast. They like discovering new places, historical towns and amazing natural wonders.
Travelling led her into writing books, not only to share their experience with family and friends but also to share the knowledge they learned from travelling.
Wildflowers are amazing, especially those rarely seen. But even those we usually see by the road, the ones considered weeds are special, if you look closely. In this book you will find how wildflowers grow and propagate, just relying on nature alone. How each one has a character of its own, how delicate and tough they are. I hope this book will give you joy, appreciation and love of wildflowers.
