This book of Home Economics (Cookery) Volume 1 is divided into five lessons which include Lesson One (1) Cleaning and Maintaining Kitchen Premises; Lesson Two (2) Preparing Appetizers; Lesson Three (3) Preparing Salads and Dressings; Lesson Four (4) Preparing Sandwiches; and Lesson Five (5) Preparing Desserts.
Lesson 1 will prepare the students to know the tools, utensils and equipment
needed in preparing food.
Lesson 2 focuses on the preparation and presentation of appetizers
Lesson 3 deals with the skills and attitude of the learners to independently
prepares salads and dressings
Lesson 4 discusses lessons on preparing variety of sandwiches
Lesson 5 demonstrate skills and creativity in preparing desserts
