Evangeline is not an average teen. Her parents died in a car accident when she was 3 1/2 months. She lived in a orphanage until she was 4 yrs old. Her foster parents could take care of her when she hit the age of 17 because of work. They put her in a academy. Where she met a boy named Lenny. He was her best friend, but she didnt know he was in love with her.

Diana S. Bencosme was 13-14 when she wrote this book, but just like any other young writer, her writing was inspired by the heart. She lives in Queens, NY. Her family is from Dominican Republic.
