LaNinia Deamer is originally from Albany, NY and holds a Master of Science degree in Nonprofit Management, Post-Bacculaureate Certification in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina A&T State University. An Executive Director of her nonprofit organization, Precious Giftz, Inc. and a Certified Youth Prevention Specialist with over 14 years of experience creating and facilitating youth prevention programs.
She currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her two children.

Shailoh Deamer is the 12 year old daughter of LaNinia. She is a theatre major in the 7th grade. She has been studying theatre at the Children's Theatre of Charlotte since she was 3. She loves performing and being creative in various ways. She had a desire to use her creativity and share her personal experiences in an effort to help other young people dealing with similar situations. So mommy helped her write a book.
