I've never met my grandmother but I wish I did. I know that if I had the chance that I would love her. I can only imagine what she may be like. From what I’ve been told, my maternal grandmother was full of life. I have been told many stories about her, but never met her in person. I never knew her because she died four months after I was born. Elsie liked to write poetry. I’d like to share it with you.

The author is Jack Martine, the grandson of Elsie Marian Carlton. Elsie died in May of 1964, four months after Jack was born. This book is for my mom, Phyllis Martine for her 91st birthday.
