This book is a collection of observations, tips, and reflections from a Mother to her own children about parenting as they become parents themselves. The book is her gift to them as they begin their new and exciting journey in becoming parents. Helen is immensely proud of her adult children which made her reflect on why they became independent, self-reliant, responsible adults. This is a collection of her reflections. She reminds them that good parenting is intentional and requires thought and perseverance. Helen conveys the message not to parent with the "hope" that children will become successful adults, but parent in a manner that raises the probability they will. Good parenting does not guarantee children will grow into awesome, responsible adults, but good parenting give children a chance to grow into healthy adults with the skills, attitudes, wisdom, and spiritual base needed to achieve peace, happiness, and success.
