These pieces of work are collected from a period over almost fifteen years. Whether written during or after a relationship, or event and while in college. I found a passion for writing when I was young. I found it as a way to release any frustrations and fears that I was penting up inside. Besides that it was a way to communicate to myself for later down the road on the mistakes and triumphs I had accomplished.

Being a single mother of two children has inspired me to let others see my passion and to relate to others the importance of pursuing your dreams. I have always wanted to share with others my trials and tribulations as well as my joys and achievements. I have wanted to do this not as a way to get pity, sympathy or huge acknowledgement, but to let others know that they are not alone. There is a large emphasis on violence and overcoming abusers in this collection and that is what I want the readers to know. No woman, man, nor child deserves to be abused in any way, shape or form. I have a strong conviction to those who think that it is okay to bully and abuse those who count on you or love or loved you.

I am an advocate for the end to Domestic Violence and pray that any type of abuse rendered upon children is met with justice and prevented as quickly as possible. I hope that those who read this find encouragement and enlightenment that they too can survive the pain that they may be going through. That they may find that person inside who wants and needs to accomplish their dreams and goals and begins today. I hope that with the courage and education of knowing that abuse is not okay nor will it stop until you leave, let more children and families live the way that they should. Together.
