Julie Ann Thomas grew up in Auburn, Washington. She earned a B.A. in English Education from the The University of Montana and a Masters of Education from St. Katherine's University in Minnesota. Julie has been teaching 7th grade language arts for eight years and this is her first children's book. Julie lives with her husband in Mound, Minnesota and was inspired to write by her dog Lucy's quirky love affair with her stuffed animals.
