About the Book

You are given two weeks and your construction materials are limited to Cardboard, Duct Tape, and Styrofoam......can you build a working boat? We did! :-)

We had never heard of a cardboard boat, but we were told that at an upcoming party they were having a contest to see whose boat could stay afloat the longest. We were only allowed to use cardboard, tape, and styrofoam to construct the boat (No Glue, Sealant, Wood, PVC, Metal, and no Pool Noodles). We were told we could paint or decorate it.

The boat had to be a boat (with sides) not a raft and it had to carry at least one Adult in/on the boat at all times.

We were up to the Challenge!
