Katie Bratcher was born in Baker City, OR. She exhibited a gift for creativity at a very early age. Influenced by her mother's art, she has far surpassed her influence. Katie has shown her high level of creative talent in writing poetry, knotting hemp, wire jewelry making, crochet and her latest passion needle felting. There is no limit to her talent. She has an eye for detail and perfection in everything she does. She created this book, at the age of 15, in 1997. It was to be a gift for her younger cousins, Hallie and Laura Borgen. I have saved the original copy, stumbling across it recently. I am putting it into print as a birthday present to her son Isaac James Hurlburt who will be 8 years old. He displays the same creative talent and enthusiasm as his mother Katie. Happy Birthday to my Grandson!
