As a former vocational home economics teacher, Alice has taught knitting,crocheting,and weaving always encouraging creativity and fun with each project. Alice had created many unique knitted softwear pieces over the years with many being sold on a craft website called Etsy under the name of JepsonGirls in memory of her English aunties and grandmothers. Each knitted project is easy and fun to make and will be one that you or someone special to you will love and cherish for years to come. Instructions and pictures add to the easy to follow knitting directions. Suggestions for yarns and materials to use are also offered throughout this colorful and informative book. Alice Joyce Cote is married with two sons and their families, and two grandsons and one granddaughter. Her books are being offered as a fundraiser to help with medical expenses for her twenty two year old grandson who is battling Ewing's Sarcoma. Her husband, a former professional photographer for many years, enjoys the backyard pond with all the fish,turtles,frogs and water features. Alice is a retired vocational home economics teacher and high school career counselor who loves photography and writing, researching family ancestry, and enjoys humorous writing and photojournalism. She also enjoys making scrapbook journals and up cycling old books.She is currently working on additional books on her ancestry and family history,life during the 30's and 40's, crafts,knitting books and recipe collections, as well as the story of her uncle, a WWII Flying Fortress hero.
