Ginger Di Paola Kleypas decided to gather stories told about her father,The Reverend Joseph Di Paola, when he passed away on February 8, 2009. As a way to celebrate his life, these stories were collected by friends and family and although Father Joe has gone, he will never be forgotten. The lives he touched were too many to count, but every one of them counted.
As Father Joe was nearing the end of his life here on earth, I made a phone call to the Diocesan office to talk to the Bishops there. Bishop Andy Doyle spoke with me and said "We were all sitting around the table at a meeting when we got the call. We couldn't believe how we all had a Father Joe story." Later that night, I decided to share Father Joe's stories, and began working immediately to invite others to share their Father Joe stories.
