Dr. Lloyd Claude Warner is the second son of Claude Elden Warner and Angie Dearden Warner. Raised in humble beginnings in rural Utah, he completed his PhD in Plant Physiology at the University of Minnesota. He began working for Eli Lilly Company in 1963, researching and testing new weed control products until his retirement in October 31, 1988. Lloyd married Luana Nelson and raised six sons and one daughter. He currently resides in St. George, Utah with his wife of 64 years.
