A man named Vailean moves into an old castle where the previous owner mysteriously disappeared. The abode has a strange elegance and darkness about it, but below it, there is a holy book. As Vailean reads it, he learns about creation, God’s power, and Jesus’ sacrifice. He begins sharing his newfound knowledge, and is led into turmoil for the king desires to exterminate anyone who believes in the book’s contents. Now Vailean is faced with a tough decision. Does he deny God? Or will he share God’s word with Cineád and risk death in the process? His fate is in his own hands.
