Mr. Balloon is based on my 8 month old daughters experience with a balloon we got her. Everyday she would lye on the floor and grab at the air trying to get the balloon. As time went on the balloon started to deflate and slowly worked its way down to her. The response my daughter had to the balloon getting closer and closer was humorous. It started as her trying to catch Mr. Balloon and turned out that maybe Mr. Balloon was trying to catch her. They finally meet and with that a friendship is made.

I am 31 years old and married to my college sweet heart. I have two beautiful daughters (3 and 8 months). I am the only male in the house (even our two labs are female). I graduated from the University of Florida ("Go Gators") with a BA in sociology and business. I spend my days as a consultant creating new ideas for the company I work for. I started working from home two years ago and spend a lot of time with my two daughters. Thanks to my job being so manageable, I can take time during the day to hang out with them. Since then, I have become fascinated by all the funny antics they have. I started to write them down and have created over 6 stories of true events. Here are some titles: Has anyone seen my Taylor B. - Mr. Balloon - Sleepy Baby - Balloon Land - Mothers Always Understand. Each of these stories is in the process of being illustrated by my artist. I find great enjoyment and satisfaction by telling these stories through writing and feel that your readers will get the same enjoyment reading them.
