This book is about a time when Ms. Sherman went to Washington, DC to see her friend Stephanie. This book is also a way to learn all about our capitol's history.

Ms. Sherman is a first grade teacher at Whit Davis Elementary. She loves her job and reading books with her class. By going to graduate school at the University of Georgia, she has discovered how important picturebooks are to learning. She lives in Athens with her two dogs, Ava and Rennie.
