To be a successful interior designer, it is important to have the intelligence of creativity and originality. Currently I am graduating senior in interior design field, this gives me the opportunity to practice and design spaces by manipulating them to make them more functional. What interests me the most about this field, that “the sky is the limit”. For instance, people who are practicing interior design, fashion design or any type of design should create new ideas and innovations that are unique and exclusive because designers are defined as idea people. Another interesting point about interior design, it specializes in different categories. For example, categories like residential, commercial, health care, and hospitality. Therefore, one can designate the desired field, although one should be qualified and competent in the entire profession.
Since the beginning, I was involved in scheming, decorating and designing. I was 15 when I first changed the decoration of our living room it was a great accomplishment at that time. Since then, I never imagined a place or a space to look the same twice. I kept practicing my creativity of evolving spaces around me with having less knowledge about hand drafting, dimensions, space planning, t‐square all the Interior Design Vocabulary. Time to apply for a higher degree concerned about which university I should join, what major I shall designate .my dilemma started, never knew what to study , my family influenced me especially my eldest sister actually she was behind all my achievements. Three and a half years passed in majoring Interior Design I believe, they where the most successful years in my life. Because I did not only learn how to do things right according to dimensions, proportions, universal codes and regulations. However, I learned how to accept criticism, and “after a bad sketch there is always a masterpiece work coming” and how to develop you own style in design. Interior Design has been always challenging and competing. Currently I am capable of Designing and space planning extreme projects, such as, residential and commercial.
