About the Book

A Tale of Love's Embrace: Comforting a Child Who has Lost a Parent and Journal is a book for young readers, ages 3 - 8, whose parent has passed. This book is a non-religious, age-appropriate story where a magical owl teaches a child how to cope with loss. The owl explains that even though the child may no longer hold their lost parent, their love will live on forever with them through their memories together. The book includes a sweet, comforting story; as well as a journal pages to draw, write down memories, discuss their feelings, etc. Additionally, there are places to secure photos of the child and parent together for a special memory keepsake of their loved one.
