Brooke Folk grew up in Meyersdale, in Southwestern, PA. He has lived on Long Island, NY since 1974 and plans on returning to his home town in the not too distant future. This book is filled with a lot of nonfiction content in names and places. The license to add the fiction to the story was my delight and the beginning of my love of writing without having any formal education in writing other than forced english classes in high school which I'm sure I rebelliously passed.
