About the Book

Lake Pontchartrain is one of the largest lakes located in Louisiana. It is highly rumored that this lake is home to a mysterious sea creature with mystical voodoo powers. Two young boys and their father enjoy fishing in the Lake as often as they can. They come close to catching the Kraken one day, but a storm arrives and the Kraken snaps the fishing line and gets away.

In 2018, New Orleans celebrated 300 years of heritage, and now we turn our sight to the next 300 years and the preservation of this culture and way of life. Most of the illustrations in this book were featured by Whereyart in the +300 more art exhibition.
