This book is about my memories as a small child interned with my mother in an United States Internment Camp located on an Indian Reservation, Poston, Arizona and what I learned as an adult about the internment of 120,000 persons of Japanese ancestry, 67% who were citizens of the United States.

Robert Iwamasa was born in Watsonville, California on August 29, 1937. He lives currently in Midland Michigan with his wife Ruby. They have three children, Kenneth, Jonathan and Andrew.
