Riley is my great grandfather. My Mothers, fathers, father. For most of my life I have wondered about him, what his life was like, where he went, and what he did. We all knew him as William R. Thomas and that is why the story was like tracking a ghost. It wasn't until records became more available through internet research that the truth started to come out. A story that can't be hidden and must be told.
