This is a re-imagining of the classic story of "The Little Mermaid." Being my favorite since I was little, I was shocked at how different the original was from the child friendly one I was used to. So I set out to make my own take on the story while maintaining the integrity and tragedy of the original.
This little mermaid tale takes place in a dark and gloomy future where the air is hard to breathe and the oceans polluted. One day, a young man came across a creature entangled in a net, the creature was a mermaid. This chance encounter sparked a love unlike any other romance ever seen. But he was human and she a mermaid, how will they stay together in a dying world.
