If you're like me you want to avoid hurt feelings and disappointments. When I was young my father explained things to me in a way that left me feeling MORE love and joy for Christmas, and excitement about giving. I did not feel disappointment at all. So when my daughter started asking tough questions, I wanted to give her the same sense of peace with the answers that I had. I was not able to find resources that explained things in such a positive way - so I decided to write her this book. I read the book to her, we discussed it as we read, and the outcome was just what i had hoped for. This book focuses on the love, hope and magic behind the history of Santa, and it sets the stage for an exciting conversation about their participation in creating the joy of Santa for others.
