This book consists of poems that tell the story of an experience that I have had once upon a time. The Poems have a personal meaning however when reading these poems, at first they may be hard to interpret however if you find you may have been in a similar situation at one time or another, the Poems meaning unfolds. As a young black woman that did everything early in life and skipped just about everything in between barbies and college I had many experiences both good and bad due to having to make decisions with an immature mind. I gained much but lost just as much and thought telling my story thru poetry could maybe show me even more meaning and appreciation.
