this book is designed for all the housewives out there just getting by. There is no reason everyone no matter how limited cant cook delicious meals for their families within minutes. These are the recipes i grew up on and enjoyed very much, food is a way into the heart and good food can bring anyone together.

My name is Jade i grew up on southern cooking, which means a lot of butter. Old style cooking to me is the only kind of cooking. I started out as the microwave queen and never dreamed id be able to cook. Cooking just sorta swept over me and i fell in love with it, i fell in love with the sweeping around the kitchen like a melodic dance and mixing and matching all my mamma's recipes. I grew up watching her as well as my family cook. I learned many things from each of them and incorporated "my way" into them. I want to direct my books to the limited mothers who may be stuck on what to cook, i want to show them that "gourmet" doesnt have to cost an arm and a leg. You can create beautiful dishes and savory creations with under 10 dollars for a family of four!
