My grandparent’s home in Chickasha, Oklahoma was a two-story home with a front porch and a corner swing supported by chains. When I was young, I loved to sit on this swing, content with the gentle swaying of the swing and listen to my family gossip. I believe that this is where my life and values began to take shape. The conversations guided me and gave me a basis for what my family considered right and wrong.
