I am a 16 year old girl who loves poetry and sharing my experiences throughout life. This book is about me facing my challenges, love, heartbreak, tears and so on. It mainly talks about the struggles of Tourette Syndrome and Autism. I've always wanted to share my story with the world and how I have overcome things and that everyone can as well. I want people to know more about some disabilities that not many know about. Thank you for taking the time and reading my story.

Hey guys, my name is Kya Byrnes. I am a 16 year old girl who has had to battle some things throughout my life. Sharing my story has always been a dream for me and I hope to achieve it one day. I also hope this book can help people to understand some disabilities a bit better than before. I was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome when I was 13 and Autism when I was 15. I've had people tell me and ask me things that just told me that people need a better understanding about these things. That's why I have found a passion for poetry writing. I love my sport and even played for Australia in 2022. I ended up with a massive fear I thought I would never have to deal with. It's been hard but I know to never give up and to only think of the positive within my life. Ever since my Tourttes started I have been limited to some things in my life. I have more precautions then I've ever had. I took a while to get used to but I get there and I'm happy to all my family and friends for being by my side!!
