Karen was nicknamed the "silly grandma" by the precocious little girl in this story when she was only 2 years old. Karen has quite enjoyed the name and tried to live up to it ever since. She has 5 children and 13 grandchildren, all of whom live quite near to her. She loves being a part of their lives, and writing stories about their escapades. She is very proud of each one, and hopes they will always know how much she loves them.
