Emily lives in Udall, a small town in Southeast Kansas. She loves all animals, but horses are her passion. Emily shares her love of horses with her grandma. The inspiration for this story comes from some of the horses they both own. Emily has begun competing in horse shows and trail riding. Emily is currently a sophomore in high school, but she hopes to attend college to pursue a career as a veterinarian, horse trainer or zoo keeper.
