Torn Map Devotional is representative of our spiritual journey. For me this name sparks two ideas. One is of an old treasure map, that is worn and weathered, but if studied and followed carefully, will lead to a wonderful treasure. The second image in my mind is one of an old map, passed down from generation to generation which has led many before us to salvation. This is the reason for its torn, used appearance. Both images to me represent the scripture. On one hand, it leads us to an unspeakable treasure that is worth more than we can imagine and at the same time, the Bible has been the true guide to many, many people before us. Showing them the path that they need to follow, just like an old, torn map. My prayer for you is that these devotionals serve as your map, to lead you to the greatest treasure of all, Jesus Christ.

Nicholas studied at Southern Adventist University and graduated with a BA in Theology. He also has a Master of Divinity from Liberty University and a Masters in Counseling from Walden University. He currently lives in South Florida with his wife and young son. His hope is that this book will be able to touch the lives of many, including his family.
