Growing up in the 50's into the 90's was such a delightful and interesting time period, I hold many of the memories delicately tucked away in a special place of mind.

I was the second youngest of eight kids. My time spent growing up had it's share of ups and downs, yet more glorious and happier times prevailed.

My older brothers and sisters had the overwhelming task of watching over me, therefore I became a constant thorn in their side.

Always present, tagging along and holding it all inside with anticipation in telling our parents, once we returned home.

We traveled quite a bit back and forth to Kentucky and Tennessee, where my parents were born and raised.

Family reunions between both families was a big tradition that still goes on today.

My parents were a loving ,caring couple who adored being with family, both immediate and extended. They especially enjoyed each other. Life was good and innocent.

Today I am blessed with 3 beautiful adult children and 3 adoring grandkids.

I enjoy writing poetry, short stories in a variety of areas and about family and friends
